General Manager / Sales – Robert J. Shipley

In 1982, Bob approached his father and brother, both of whom were in the elevator business, about starting a new elevator company. When they agreed, Bob left his employ at a small elevator company in Morris County and started RMR. In the beginning, Bob did all the office work, all the sales and estimating and all the daily servicing of the equipment. As the load increased, Robert C. left his job at a New York City elevator company to help out. Bob’s job gradually gravitated toward the sales aspect of the firm.

His current duties include sales, customer service and overall management of the firm. Bob holds a New Jersey Elevator Inspector license and a New York City Elevator Agency Director License. Bob holds CET and CET-S certifications from the National Association of Elevator Contractors.

Field Coordinator – Sandra Shipley

A graduate of Rider College (before it was a University), Sandy has been with RMR since 1987. She has been Field Coordinator since that time. Her duties include scheduling, material ordering and site coordination.
